Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Lava

I present to you, Lava by Sally Hansen.

From the Lustre Shine collection this polish is everything the name suggests. It has brilliant shine as the light is being reflected leaving you with a foil shimmer finish.
The first coat was a little sheer. I applied two coats in the photos above. I love how you can't pin the colour of Lave to just one word. It is a duo chrome polish which means the colour will change depending on different types of light. It has rose reddish-orange-gold finish.

I don't think Duo Chrome's will ever lose their appeal as quickly as crackle and magnetic polishes. They are fun, gorgeous, glamorous and mysterious!!

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Witches severed Finger Bisuits

Happy Halloween everyone. I wanted to do something fun for Halloween and what could be more fun than handing out gory treats to little children....*CACKLES*
To make Severed Witched Fingers you are going to need:
1 cup of softened butter
1 cup of icing sugar
1 egg
1tsp of almond extract
1tsp of vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups of all purpose flour*
1tsp of baking powder
1tsp of salt
Almonds (for the nails)
Jam (for bloody mess!)

Note* I didn't have plain flour so I used my self raising flour and left out the baking powder.

Take your dough out of the fridge. The longer you leave it to chill the better. Prepare your area with some flour to stop the dough becoming sticky while you are working with it. Using your hands roll out a small piece. squeeze two parts on either end to create knuckles. Add an almond on the end for your witches nail and then using a knife add your knuckle detailing.

Place onto your greaseproof baking paper and place into the over which has been pre-heated to 160C for 20 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool on a wire rack.
To decorate pop out the almond and place jam onto the nail bed....ewww! Pop the almond back on and place some jam on the top of the witched finger.

YOUR DONE, ENJOY!

LUSH Limited Edition Father Christmas Bath Bomb

Prepare yourself for a glittertastic Christmas if you use this Bath Ballistic! It's everything a Christmas bath bomb should be. Fun, colourful and when used it will awaken your senses and remind you of Christmas.

I popped Father Christmas into the bath (never thought I'd say that!) and he..I mean it, the bath bomb began to fizz immediately. The bath went red and filled up with glitter. After that my bath went green and turned festive.
I watched in amazement as the bath changed colour and the glitter sparkled. The mandarin oil, clove bud oil and orange flower absolute made this bath experience warm and soothing. Father Christmas also contains a shot of brandy which makes it the perfect bath bomb for cold nights and a slight scent of vanilla which adds that little bit of sweetness.

I loved this bath bomb and hope I can buy more before it's all sold out. There is only two reason why I think others wouldn't love this as much as I do

Firstly the colour, most wouldn't be too fond of hopping into a green bath. It might be a bit too ghostbusters for  them but I love it. I would hop into any bath no matter what colour it was if it smelt this good. Secondly the glitter aftermath. Your bath will be covered in glitter once you've drained the water and your skin will be covered even after towel drying. I like to rinse my bath down afterwards out of respect for the next person to use it and I love being covered in glitter so this doesn't bother me in the slightest!

There you have it Lush Father Christmas bath bomb is available in all LUSH stores nationwide while stocks last and cost €4.25. Have you tried it? Would you? Let me know in the comments below.

If you are not yet subscribed to my YouTube channel please check it out HERE

Recently I have been getting into the Halloween spirit on Youtube to make up for my excitement for Christmas ..I know I know it's only October but I'm mental! Best you find this out now!

Here are the latest pictures and videos in this years Halloween Series.

I Shared my Glossybox opening in true Halloween style, you can see what I got in the October box below.

For the first time ever I played around with special effects make-up. I'll admit it wasn't great but boy was it fun! I actually love scary, gory, scream out loud movies. I have a feeling there will be many more videos like this to come. For now see how I got on....

For fun and giggles I thought it would be great to do some Halloween inspired nail looks. The eyeball is my favourite. The great thing about these five looks are that they are super easy. Anyone can do them so I urge you to give them a try. Watch the tutorial below to find out how.

Please check out my channel if you haven't done so already. It's about to get a lot scarier when I upload my Sewn shut mouth tutorial at the end of the week.

Happy Haunting,

Love Sarah

Christmas Blogger Meet Up

I am very excited to announce the date of this years #ChristmasBloggerMeet. I have put a lot of thought into picking the date as I want to give everyone as much time as possible to plan. Drum roll please......

Where:
Again this meet-up will be taking place in Dublin city centre. I am hoping to host in a different place in the future. If you think your town would be a great for a meet-up let me know. I will give details on exact meeting spot and time closer to the date. Keep your eyes peeled.

Who:
This meet up is open to all bloggers, vloggers and readers. If you are thinking of starting your own blog or YouTube channel this is a great experience to get some advice on starting up.

What:
This time I thought it would be fun to have a blogger/vlogger Q&A. We can ask each other questions/advice on how we can improve our blogs and channels. Closer to the date I will be putting up a list of the people attending so you can familiarise yourself with them before you meet them in person. You can direct your questions at a certain person if they don't mind answering or you can ask the whole group. This will be done indoors, I'll find us somewhere nice!

I also have a few other surprises. We will be visiting a few of our favourite stores in town for fun demonstrations and a bite to eat will be in order too.

Charity:
At the last meet up I raffled off a Brown Thomas voucher and on the day we raised over €100 for Barnardos. I was so thrilled with this that I have decided to do it again. This time I will be raising money for Age Action, Ireland's leading charity for old people.

I want to come:
If you would like to come all you have to do is express your interest in the comments below, then email me with your name and a link to your channel and/or blog. I will keep you updated by email so this is very important. My email address: adoreabubbles@hotmail.com

I cant wait to see you all and I'm sorry for bringing this up before Halloween, I'm just so excited!

Love,
Sarah

Myleene Klass Nails

If you know me at all you know I love my nail art. I am by no means an expert but I enjoy it all the same. With over one hundred bottles of lovelyness to my name I am a bit of a nail varnish addict too. When I first heard about nail wraps I was so against them it wasn't even funny. Talk about taking all the fun out of painting your nails. I really like sitting down and painting my nails while catching up on my favourite television programmes. It's something I have watched my mam do since I was a little blogger in the making!

I have to admit painting my nails can be a bit of a pain when I'm in a hurry and I think that's why nail wraps have become so popular. Zero drying time, no chipping or smudging.

I really liked these wraps compared to other brands I have tried. The quality is much better. Packaging is great and you get twenty four wraps in each pack. I was really excited to see a nail file included in there along with instructions on how to prepare your nails, tips on how to prolong the wear and easy to follow instructions on how to apply. All for just €6.99. Myleene Klass Nails are available in Heatons and Debenhams. You can also buy them on-line at JMLdirect.

What do you think? Have you given them a go? Let me know what you think in the comments below.

If you haven't tried them well then enter this dandy giveaway here!

Thank you for the Blog Awards

I entered the Osprey hotel on Saturday night, my stomach was doing summersaults. I was excited for the night ahead, about meeting people I knew but had never met, excited about not having a clue what to expect from the night. For anyone who knows me you won't be shocked to hear I was excited about dinner!!

I was up for the Best Video Blog and it wasn't until I entered the award room that it dawned on me that this was a big moment! My mam rang me the night before to make sure I didn't forget to thank her when I was accepting my award and I laughed her off the phone.

The category I was in was literally one of the last to be announced and boy with each passing category being announced the butterflys in my stomach which began as a flutter where buzzing around like mad! My partner kept squeezing my hand and saying " You have it, you are amazing". When I saw my blog/youtube name appear on the screen I thought to myself , wouldn't it be AMAZING if I won. Within seconds the moment was over. My name was not called out.

Even though I didn't win, you know what? I spent the whole night smiling and laughing with great people. I made new friends. I had phenomenal support from the early nomination stages up until the moment I sat down for dinner on the night. I can't believe the wonderful support I received. If I could give you all a big hug I would.

Making it as far as I did, I still can't believe it. I'm excited about the future. I'm excited about my future blogging. I am so grateful for all the wonderful friends I have made along the way.

I have my certificate framed and sitting on my desk to remind me that as amazing as it would have been to win I don't need an award to know that I am apart of something wonderful.

I love being a blogger/vlogger.

Thank YOU for taking the time to read my blog and to watch my videos.

Love,
Sarah

Barry M Web Effect and NYC Hallowe'en Nails

I was in Superdrug during the week and at the moment Barry M are giving away a bottle of limited edition Web Effect when you buy two or more Barry M products. I bought some other polishes for beauty swaps I am doing at the moment and got myself a free bottle worth €4.75.

I painted my nails using NYC's City Blackout. I love NYC for their variety of colours and affordable prices. City Blackout costs €1.99 and only one coat was needed for the results in the photo above.

Instructions for Barry M Web Effect.
  1. Apply a thin coat of your chosen nail polish....CHECK
  2. Wait one to two minutes until nails are touch dry. Do not apply on dry nails......CHECK
  3. Apply a thin coat of Web Nail Effects.....Check
  4. Wait three minutes and the effects will soon appear......Check
I waited three minutes and sure enough the effect did begin to appear but unfortunately as you can tell in the photo the effect is far from web like. I have checked out other reviews on this polish and everyone else got the same results. I like the end result with the orange (more of a crackle like effect) over the black but I am a little disappointed in this product not looking like the design on the lid and I am glad I didn't pay €4.75 for it.

NYC have also brought out this Demon Glow Top Coat for hallowe'en which glows an eerie green under ultra-violet lights. It costs €2.49.

Happy Haunting!
